Programme Overview
Each group of 12 CEOs meets in London four times a year for a full day workshop. ELP workshops provide a stimulating, powerful and confidential environment for leading CEOs to explore and debate current professional challenges.
The sessions are led by a combination of first class advisors and facilitators – as well as by successful CEOs who have first hand experience in the role. Workshops are not led from the front by a slide show, but instead are facilitated sessions which leverage the collective brain-power and experiences of the individuals in the room.
The first half of the day focuses on personal development and leadership skills, and the second half consists of master classes and workshops in practical topics which make up the challenges faced by CEOs.
ELP has found that most business leaders have similar concerns for their own development and often face similar challenges, and therefore group working and debate around key issues form a central part of each workshop. Critically it is through the analysis of each member’s needs that the agenda for workshops is set,- rather than relying on MBA-style theoretical case studies.
Members are interviewed prior to the initial workshop to set the agenda – which may cover some of the trickier issues difficult to discuss elsewhere. The workshop is then built to address the chosen subject matter so that members can leave with practical answers which can be implemented.
“As an experienced CEO ELP has given me some very useful insights and some great new ideas”
