Personal development

The personal development sessions cover a range of areas from identifying leadership preferences and styles, exploring leadership challenges, coaching skills and building powerful and effective teams.

These are interactive sessions that involve group work and break-outs, using tried and tested models and structures for leadership and personal development. The aim is to provide a forum for members to air live issues in a facilitated and creative environment. Practical tools with which to think through issues, lively debate and opportunities to coach each other on current leadership challenges form the bedrock of the sessions.

A variety of leadership development experts have been invited to sessions, this has included professional coaching firm Praesta Partners and mentors Mike Pegg and Sue Moore. However, the underlying objective is to create a dynamic, facilitated space for reflection and peer learning, not only from outside experts but from the collective experience of the CEOs present in the room.
